Square Enix released two new trailers for its upcoming fighting video game "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT." Prince Noctis finally meets his allies, Lightning and Warrior of Light.

Square Enix and PlayStation teamed up to release two more trailers on Dec. 5. The first trailer, titled "A Princely Welcome," is a cut-scene from the actual game featuring Noctis from "Final Fantasy XV." Noctis is welcomed by Lightning and Warrior of Light as "a new ally."

Additional information about the plot of the game was also introduced. Materia, the Goddess of Protection, is Cosmos' heiress. Also, unlike in the previous Dissidia video game installments, all the characters in the game have memories of the previous conflict between Cosmos and Chaos.

The second trailer is the Opening Cinematic. All installments to the Dissidia game series have their own cinematic trailer. The trailer for the NT edition is once again an epic showdown between the warrior from the light and dark side.

First to connect an attack is Noctis by using his warp ability against Garland. The opening features most of the characters including new ones like Noctis and Y'Shtola Rhul. New characters that absent from the trailer are Ace from "Final Fantasy Type-O" and Ramza Beoulve from "Final Fantasy Tactics."

There are no updates or hints from Square Enix if the upcoming video game will add new characters in the enemy roster. Also, there are no further news if the game will feature extra characters like what Square Enix did with "Dissidia 012 Duodecim Final Fantasy."

"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" will be released on Jan. 30, 2018 as Square Enix's first hurrah for the coming year. There are still no other games announced by Square Enix for 2018 other than the new Dissidia game and the remake of the classic "Final Fantasy VII."

Gamers can now pre-order the video game through its official website. Square Enix offers different editions of the game -- from Standard to the Ultimate Collector's Edition.
