"Doctor Who" season 9 is about to air another brand new episode this Sunday, and according to numerous media outlets, the upcoming episode will feature ghosts.

The Doctor (Peter Capaldi), together with Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) will be out to discover more than just a simple ghost story and the duo will even deal with violent spirits and more.

Last week, BBC America released its promo trailer for the upcoming episode 3, which will bear the title "Under the Lake."

The trailer released was described to be crazy, dramatic, and intense, as stated in a report from Hollywood Hills.

Based on the official synopsis released by BBC America, "Under the Lake" will feature a shiny, black spaceship that was discovered under the lake but it appears that nothing is inside the vessel.

Fans will also expect that those in the base crew start dying, but they don't want to be dead. As a result, colleagues start to believe that ghosts exist.

In addition, the Doctor and Clara arrive at the base and found that it was under attack. Will the Doctor figure out about the mysterious threat that has taken over the underwater base?

Can the Doctor do it in time before everyone goes into a zombie-like mode? It appears that episode 3 is bound to be creepy, although it's a bit early for Halloween.

Meanwhile, showrunner Steven Moffatt teased about Capaldi's role in the series during a Radio Times Festival panel.

Moffatt revealed that everyone in the show will be safe and Capaldi may or may not be the doctor when season 10 arrives, but it will depend on how season 9 progresses.

Meanwhile, "Doctor Who" fans will just have to watch out for episode 3 to find out more adventures of the Doctor. "Under the Lake" will air on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 9 p.m. EST on BBC America.
