'Dragon Ball Super' episode 22: Ginyu joins the fight

Dragon Ball SuperToei Animation

The next episode of "Dragon Ball Super" will see Gohan fighting Freeza's army, but though Goku and Vegeta are not with him, Gohan won't be alone as someone unexpectedly comes to join the fight in a most surprising way.

Last week on "Dragon Ball Super," Gohan, Piccolo and Kuririn gathered to meet Freeza and his army while they waited for Goku and Vegeta to return. Seeing that Goku was not around to help his friends, Freeza ordered his army to attack, but they were defeated by the fighters. Tagoma then surprised everyone when he unleashed his powers which killed Shisami and injured Gohan, and Freeza promised Tagoma that he could lead his army. Tagoma accepted, while Goku and Vegeta continued their training.

Will Goku and Vegeta find out about what happened to Shisami, and will they stop training because of it? According to the synopsis for the next episode titled "Change! Impossible Resurrection! The Name is Ginyu!," Gohan is forced into a brutal fight with Tagoma, who has been trained to perfection by Freeza. Ginyu appears and is reborn in Tagoma's body using body-change. The two boys feel the full force of Freeza's army's power and prepare to fight.

In the trailer for the upcoming episode, Gohan wonders about the change in Tagoma and he can't believe how powerful he has become. Gohan says that Tagoma is a completely different soldier from the ones in Freeza's army, and he wonders if his hidden power can defeat the super soldier.

Tagoma is seen taking on four fighters at the same time, and he pushes them all away. Tagoma laughs, and Gohan is horrified as he realized that Tagoma is even better than he thought.

What happens when Ginyu is reborn in Tagoma's body? Will this be an advantage for Gohan, or will this make things worse for the hero?

Episode 22 of "Dragon Ball Super" airs Sunday, Dec. 6.
