Bandai Namco Entertainment has finally revealed the release date of its upcoming fighting game "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" in North America and Europe.

The sequel lands in the United States on Oct. 25 while fans in Europe won't get their hands on "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" until Oct. 28. The game will come to the regions on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, but Japan is only getting a PS4 version of it this winter.

Fans in the said region had fears that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" won't be ready this year, and that they will have to wait for 2017 to see the game in the flesh.

But "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is officially dropping this year and there's so much to expect of the fighting game, as teased by Bandai America Vice President of Marketing at Eric Hartness.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is shaping up to be the biggest and best Dragon Ball videogame experience to date," he said, via ComingSoon.net.

The release date was announced during the Anime Expo event, where Bandai also showed a brand-new trailer for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" that provided a great overview of the title.

Electro house musician DJ Steve Aoki will be doing a special remix of some of the much-loved songs from the "Dragon Ball Z" universe.

A big fan of the franchise himself, Aoki will debut in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" as a non-playable character that players can interact with.

Hartness is also excited about Aoki's participation in the upcoming game, saying his music and likeness will "add a fun new dimension to the 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' experience that fans will appreciate."

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will see players restoring and saving the "Dragon Ball" timeline from evil guys who wish to mess with it to their advantage.

There are significant gameplay changes to expect in the game and fans will experience them all this October.
