"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be introducing several new gameplay modes that were not in the original game, such as the mode where several players can aid each other to take down a single enemy. One of these Expert Missions, called "Depths of Despair," has been showcased in a brand new trailer from Bandai Namco.

The "Depths of Despair" Expert Mission pits the players against Prince Vegeta in his Great Ape Form. Up to six players can team up to take him down, but even when he is outnumbered, this form of Vegeta can easily defeat all of the players.

As shown in the trailer, Vegeta can unleash a powerful laser attack from his mouth and perform health-draining combos. While Vegeta can knock enemies down with his strength and combos alone, he also has the ability to brainwash the players and turn them against their own allies.

In the beginning of the video, it is stated that the only winning condition is to defeat the Great Ape Vegeta, but there are three different losing conditions: to have all players get knocked out with no health left, to have all of them brainwashed, or if the timer runs out before they can defeat Vegeta.

This is just one of the main Expert Missions, and there will be more additional missions within the game. Unfortunately, Bandai Namco has yet to release further videos showcasing the other enemies that players can team up against. It is highly speculated that other Expert Missions may include fights against Broly, Freeza, or Beerus.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will launch on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Oct. 25 in the United States and on Oct. 28 for Europe. The game will allow players to create their own custom player from a multitude of "Dragon Ball Z" races and take part in the main campaign involving the preservation of the series' timeline.
