The 2015 action adventure video that was released for the PlayStation 3 platform will also be making its way to the PS4. According to Gematsu, the game's publishing company, Square Enix had announced that the title's additional content will be released next month and will begin distribution in Japan. For PS3 and PS4 owners, the popular adage 'the best things in life are free,' can be related here because the upcoming content will not require console owners to pay an extra fee in order to experience additional gameplay. Details of the DLC have been provided below.

Arena Battle + Sub-Story: Alena and Kiryl DLC

Details: In this DLC, after clearing the Arena Battle from the DLC, players will be able to unlock Alena's original costume that had first appeared in Dragon Quest IV. Additional costume color schemes will also be unlocked for Alena and Kiryl. The DLC is expected to be released next month, on March 5, 2015.

Demon Fencer Battle + Sub-Story: Jessica and Yangus

Details: After players have cleared the Demon Fencer Battle, they will be able to turn Psaro into a playable character. In addition, players will also be able to unlock alternate costume colors for both Jessica and Yangus, if they manage to clear the sub-scenario. This DLC is expected to be released on March 12, 2015.

Additional story-lines that will be added to the existing content will be:

• 'God of Destruction and Massacre Battle + Sub-Story: Terry'
• 'Greatest Demon Beast's Battle + Sub-Story: Bianca and Nera'
• 'Great Demon Lord Battle + Sub-Story: Maya'

Currently Square Enix has not specified whether or not the boss characters, Zoma, Nokturnus, or Bjorn the Behemoose will become playable ones when the DLC is officially released but additional notes will be released as the downloadable content nears its release date.
