"Driveclub," the racing simulation game exclusive to the PlayStation 4, is already on its first year of release and developer Evolution Studios is ready to celebrate by giving out free content to players. What's more, the freebies will last until Christmas.

Evolution Studios announced that starting this week, there will be new, free-to-play Sprint tracks for "Driveclub" fans. The free maps will be released weekly until the holidays.

The game studio already started the bonus giveaway, beginning with two new tracks this week: Nilgiri Hills in India and the Taapaca course in Chile. However, those who have gotten "Driveclub" as title content for being members of the PlayStation Plus network will only get access to the Nilgiri Hills track.

In addition to free content, the developer also announced that "Driveclub" is slated to receive a big update, with the patch scheduled for release next month. Although the studio did not go into detail on what the big update will include, fans expect that it will bring some fixes and improvements like gameplay tweaks, new difficulty options, community features, and some additional new, souped-up cars, as evidenced by a tweet from the official account of "Driveclub."

The announcement also added that the title's new custom lobbies for the multiplayer mode will arrive next month, although it is unclear if it will be simultaneous with the new patch.

Meanwhile, in other news, "Driveclub" itself is currently enjoying slashed prices at the PlayStation Network. The base game is now available for $14.99, while the Season Pass – containing at least 32 current DLC packs – can be purchased for $12.99. In addition, PS Plus members can get both the game and the Season Pass for just $19.99, according to game director Paul Rustchynsky
