Techland, the developer of zombie apocalypse survival video game "Dying Light," announced that the game will have giveaways and discounts to be revealed throughout the whole month of February.

In a YouTube video published on Feb. 5, producer Tymon Smektala thanked the "Dying Light" community for the support and the love they gave for the game. In gratitude for the efforts of the community, "Dying Light" will be celebrating its third anniversary with surprises throughout February.

According to VideoGamer, Content Drop #3 will feature freebies that will be revealed gradually. Techland will also be providing weekly giveaways for Steam and Gemly. In addition, there will be a special event, a new community bounty named Undying Love that was probably created with the upcoming Valentine's Day in mind.

Furthermore, according to PCGamesN, players will be able to avail of the 67% off discount of the game and its downloadable content (DLC). PCGamesN also said that Techland is hinting at notable in-game sales as well.

"Dying Light" was published by Warner Bros. and released in January 2015. The game is all about an undercover agent named Kyle Crane. He was tasked by the Global Relief Effort (GRE) to get into Harran to retrieve the files that were stolen by Kadir Suleiman. The city had a viral outbreak that turned its population into hyper-aggressive zombie-like creatures. At one point in the game, an attack happened and Crane was bitten and infected.

Despite having the virus in his body, Crane strived to complete his task only to find out that the file he was trying to retrieve is a proof the GRE's plan to weaponize the virus. He then turned his back on the organization and the government who was planning to bomb the city, broadcasting there were no survivors. In the end, Crane decided to stay in Harran to help the remaining survivors.
