While it will still be a while before the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 unfolds in June, some observers are already trying to check out what launches and announcements game giants will most likely unveil at the event. Although the exhibitors for the conference are numerous, some of the speculations focus on developer and publisher Bethesda's E3 2016 lineup.

According to NeuroGadget, one franchise that is rumored to be appearing at Bethesda's E3 2016 appearance is "The Elder Scrolls." Previous rumors said that the developer is focusing on only one major franchise, and with "Fallout 4" already out and released, Bethesda is said to be shifting its development to "The Elder Scrolls VI."

The industry follower said that speculations place Bethesda to be readying an announcement about the upcoming title at this year's E3. However, this may turn out to be just a teaser, with confirmed details to follow at next year's E3, such as a general release window or gameplay trailer. The timeline dovetails with other speculations about the release date itself, as "The Elder Scrolls VI" is said to arrive by 2019 at the earliest.

Meanwhile, when Bethesda announced that it will be attending this year's E3 event, Polygon predicted that other franchise titles that could also appear in June are "Dishonored 2" and "Doom." The second installment in the "Dishonored" series was already announced at last year's E3, which was also Bethesda's first appearance in the conference. This time, the industry follower surmised that more confirmed details will be showcased for "Dishonored 2," and fans who are waiting for the sequel may even get a specific release date for the title.

The report also mentioned that another highlight of Bethesda's E3 appearance could be an announcement for a much-awaited "Fallout 4" expansion. Bethesda has already confirmed that DLC for its latest franchise installment will be forthcoming, and the first "Fallout 4" expansion will be released this year.
