Election Day is just two weeks away, and presidential candidates Donald Trump, for the Republicans, and Hillary Clinton, for the Democrats, are both determined to sit on the highest post of the land. However, is not the candidate with the most number popular votes who becomes the president. The candidate who reaches 270 points from electoral votes will become the next one.

According to IBTimes, Trump sent out an email to his supporters recently, containing a map which shows where they stand in the coming election. The U.S. map is dominated with red that is associated with the GOP.

The email contains a message from Kellyanne Conway, Trump's campaign manager, and it states: "Donald Trump must reach 270 electoral votes to win the presidency. We've outlined a map to show where we currently stand as well as the possible paths forward to win." She also added: "Over the past month, polls have shown us winning Iowa, Ohio, Maine, Florida, Nevada and North Carolina. If we maintain our leads in those six states, we can reliably claim 266 electoral votes. Hillary can claim 193."

It is true that the real-estate magnate is leading in Iowa and Ohio, but Clinton is leading in Florida, Nevada, and North Carolina, based on other projection reports. Huffington Post stated in its report that, based on Survey Monkey's latest Electoral College Map, Clinton has already enough states to grab the top spot. She currently has 307 electoral votes.

The current projection is also different from Obama's 2012 results. Obama won in Pennsylvania and Florida, where Clinton is just leading by a small fraction, while she trails behind in Iowa and Ohio. Obama won twice in the last two states.

Sabato's Crystal Ball also showed Clinton leading with 352 electoral votes against Trump's 173. The blog post staffers stated that the current Electoral College ratings could be the final one since there are no new states that are going with Trump. There are also known conservative states that are not supporting Trump's presidential candidacy.

The U.S. presidential election will happen on Nov. 8.
