EVGA Corporation recently released their own version of GeForce GTX 950 GPU that can give maximum performance without having to worry about the power requirements of a new video card. The GTX 950 has several models and there are specific models that do not need a 6-pin power connector. This means users who are planning to upgrade just the video card can do just that.

The EVGA GTX 950 carries in its blood the GeForce GTX DNA. It is powered by the NVIDIA Maxwell architecture, considered to be the best GPU architecture available in the market. It contains 768 CUDA Cores -- the base clock for the highest variants give 1,127 MHz with a boosted clock of 1,317 MHz, while the lower variants offer 1,025 MHz base and 1,190 MHz boosted. It is also PCI-E 3.0- and 2-way SLI-ready.

Additionally, it contains 2048MB GDDR5 VRAM, 128-bit width, and a memory bandwidth of 105.76GB/s. It is also Direct X 12 compliant.

With regard to the display ports, several variants have HDMI and DVI-I, while other variants have an additional DVI-D port.
