Looks like "Fast &Furious" fans will not have to miss Paul Walker in the next installment of the box-office action series, after rumors emerged about the alleged participation of the late actor's character in "Fast 8."

Recent reports claim that Walker's Brian O'Conner will return to the big screen once again. But unlike "Furious 7" where the actor's brothers Cody and Caleb were hired to stand in to finish all remaining scenes that he did could not finish, O'Conner will be brought to the screen through CGI technology.

The rumors about Walker's participation in the upcoming film emerged after Jordana Brewster earlier revealed that she is very much interested to reprise her role as O'Conner's wife Mia Toretto. But after talks came up saying that Cody Walker is not interested to return to the movies, Walker will be featured in flashbacks instead.

Previously, actress Michelle Rodriguez revealed during an interview with People that Walker's memory will be honored in "Fast 8." According to the actress, "[Paul] wanted to bring it back down to the core, which is the racing. He was always complaining about the special effects and the blue screens."

She said that it was Walker's wishes to come up with "exaggerated explosions and crazy plot lines," which is what they will do in the coming installment of the film.

Meanwhile, Walker's close friend and co-star Vin Diesel told MTV News that he already knows how the story of the franchise will end.

"But is that that surprising?" Diesel jokingly stated. "When you're sitting down talking to a guy that just acted and maybe more importantly in terms of this concept, produced 'The Last Witch Hunter,' which is a fantasy, you know that there's thought in that."

"Fast 8" will be released on April 14, 2017.
