Now that the epidemic has enveloped the city, the rest of Los Angeles take refuge in the waters in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2.

In the new season of "The Walking Dead" spinoff, actor Cliff Curtis, who plays the role of Travis in the show, says that the episodes will be fast-paced and will have more action than the first season.

"Season 2, we all know what we're in for. We're out at sea, and we're not the only ones out there, basically. There's a whole bunch of people who have the same idea as us," Curtis told Huffington Post.

"I'm having a great time with the new script. There's no more slow burn. That's done with. And a lot more going on," he further teased about "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2.

As he tries to survive the meaner, more dangerous world, Travis continues to reel from the loss of Lisa. However, Curtis says that there's no reason to dwell on the past now.

The actor said that in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2, the people they were before the outbreak are now "irrelevant," adding that fans will see the characters "transform in ways you wouldn't necessarily see coming."

As for what to expect in the premiere of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2, Curtis said that Travis and the rest will be in a "war zone."

To whet the appetites of fans awaiting the show's return, AMC released a bunch for photos and character portraits from the new season.

The characters have gone airborne but the sea still looks gorgeous despite the threat set to infest it soon in "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2.

In the photos, Nick and Alicia are shown with apprehension on their faces while Travis and Madison are pictured on land, presumably preparing to camp out.
