FedEx Shooting in Kennesaw, Georgia; Suspect found dead, 6 injured
UPDATE: The suspect gunman has been found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A further statement by FedEx states: "We can confirm that an incident occurred early Tuesday morning at a FedEx Ground facility in Kennesaw, Georgia. Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected, and with their families and friends. We are grateful for the assistance of law enforcement. The situation is now stabilized and we are focused on the needs of our team members and cooperating with the law enforcement investigation of this tragedy."

A shooting has been reported at a FedEx facility in Kennesaw, Ga., early Tuesday morning.
The shooting took place at around 5.45 a.m. A male suspect reportedly arrived at the facility and began his shooting rampage. Six people are said to have ben shot.
Emergency vehicles rushed to the scene where a number of victims were said to have been injured. They were taken to a nearby hospital.
Cobb County Police officer Michael Bowman told ABC: "The area around the building has been secured and the officers are now clearing the incident location. This is still an active and fluid situation."
Six injured were taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, ABC News affiliate WSB-TV reported. Their conditions were not immediately known. Some of the injured are in surgery, hospital spokesman Tyler Pearson told ABC News.
The FedEx facility is located at 1675 Airport Road.
Due to the incident, FedEx employees arriving for work were turned away and those who were already at the warehouse are being held as the facility remains in lockdown.
"FedEx is aware of the situation," said FedEx spokesman Scott Fiedler. "Our primary concern is the safety and well-being of our team members, first responders and others affected. FedEx is cooperating with authorities."
