FIFA Referee Bob Hamer: "A Relationship with Jesus is the One Thing Worth Achieving"

|PIC1|Former FIFA referee Bob Hamer officiated at many international matches in the 1980’s:

The game that was the most prestigious was a World Cup qualifying game that I did in 1985 in New Zealand. I was a linesman in the game, it was New Zealand against Australia. Then in my last season in September 1992 I did Denmark against Germany, which at the time was the European Champions against World Champions.

Once a successful businessman, Hamer’s life changed dramatically when he became a follower of Jesus Christ.

I used to say it turned my life upside down, but in fact what it did do was turn my life the right way up, and it changed my whole life, and I became a lot more compassionate. I said I wanted to be a success before, and I guess now I can say that I have become a success, as I have achieved the one thing that is worth achieving in life, and that is having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
