Spoilers are everywhere. That's what "Final Fantasy XV" fans are thinking right now when they go online. The game was supposed to come out on Nov. 29, but a number of gamers have already bought copies from various stores around the world.

The leak has been so widespread that game director Hajime Tabata decided to issue a statement (via Siliconera) confirming that the spoilers online are the real deal.

"This may be inevitable due to regional circumstances, but it's something we regret very much," he stated.

He went on to say that their goal was to release the game simultaneously worldwide. Well, that didn't go too well, did it? Tabata also told fans who want to avoid spoilers to be careful of the leaks while they look for ways to stop them from circulating online.

"We are doing everything we can to prevent the circulation of the spoiler videos. For those of you that received the game earlier, please keep those who've waited a long time for the game in consideration. In order to meet the best possible release date with everybody, we ask for your understanding and cooperation," the game director added.

Meanwhile, Square Enix also shared the details of the day one patch they plan to release. The patch is reportedly 7.2 GB, which is huge. Why didn't Square Enix just include this in the final version of the game? Oscar Dayus of GameSpot pointed out that one of the main reasons the game was delayed in the first place was because the studio wanted to ship the update along with the game. So, why release it as an update?

Anyway, the update will add a number features to the game including improvements made to the camera view in narrow areas. A "Monster Whistle" players can use to call out monsters will also be added. The patch will also include new event scenes from "Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV" and the "Omen" trailer.
