A lot of fans are worried that the remake of the "Final Fantasy 7" game will not be released anytime soon since Square Enix is not planning to show it at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show 2016.

According to Yibada, a lot of rumors online say that Square Enix has made the decision not to include "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" in its line up for this event simply because the game will not be released within the next six months. While the company has yet to divulge the remake's date of release, a lot of fans are actually expecting that, with the way things are going right now, the much-awaited remake will make it by late 2017.

Furthermore, the report also states that Square Enix has already released the list of the games they will showcase at the event. The Square Enix official website revealed that some of the big games to be included are "Final Fantasy XV" and "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue."

As for the other games to be showcased in the event, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" and the new "Hitman" game will be included. This is significant since the latter is said to be followed by "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" after it gets released.

Also, aside from the remake, Kingdom Hearts 3" is not included in the list. What this means is that these games are scheduled to be released sometime in late 2017, or even later. As such, fans are expecting Square Enix to utilize other massive shows in order to show off these games sometime next year, such as the E3 event, which is slated for June 13-15, 2017.

Regardless, the new "Final Fantasy 7" remake will become more of an action game, with the old Active Time Battle system being phased out in favor of a system similar to that of the "Dissidia" games.
