The newest trailer for "Final Fantasy XV," known as Dawn 2.0, is providing fans with a closer look at two of the game's main characters.

Both Noctis and Lunafreya are the stars of this newest cinematic trailer and fans do get more details about who these characters through watching the trailer.

For the most part, the trailer focused on the troubled pasts of the two characters. Noctis was shown as he was embraced in the rain by his father, while Lunafreya was revealed to have been the victim of torture thrust upon her by soldiers.

The trailer also shows how the two characters meet.

The trailer also references the stark changes in the personalities of both Noctis and Lunafreya, according to Game Rant. Instead of remaining as the small and scared versions of themselves, the two have grown to be more courageous even in the face of impending danger as Lunafreya capably demonstrates in the Dawn 2.0 trailer.

If the short snippets that fans have been able to see of "Final Fantasy XV" have seemingly been focused on Noctis and Lunafreya, that is no accident as the two will figure prominently into the game's main storyline.

"Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata also told Gamespot that the two would be involved romantically with each other, although it apparently won't be the same old story fans have grown familiar with.

The Dawn 2.0 trailer is not expected to be the only thing related to "Final Fantasy XV" that Square Enix will reveal at Tokyo Game Show. Square Enix is expected to debut some new footage related to the game before Tokyo Game Show officially ends, so fans still have that to look forward to.

"Final Fantasy XV" currently has no specific release date, although that bit of information is expected to be revealed by Square Enix in March of next year.
