"Tekken 7" is going to feature "Final Fantasy XV's" Noctis as a guest fighter.

The reveal trailer was uploaded to Bandai Namco Entertainment America's YouTube Channel on Nov 12. And ever since, fans of both the "Tekken" and "Final Fantasy" franchises have been talking about it. The fans were overjoyed to see the familiar prince and protagonist of "Final Fantasy XV" make his way into the character roster of hit fighting game "Tekken."

The trailer begins with a phone call. Noctis answers the phone and someone on the other end of it asks him for a favor. Noctis agrees and what follows is an objective telling players to beat all foes who cross their path. Noctis is then sent into the world of "Tekken 7."

The "Final Fantasy XV" protagonist Noctis wields signature engine sword, and the trailer goes on to showcase not just Noctis' attacks and his fighting style, but his special moves as well. Noctis combines both swordplay and hand-to-hand combat, giving his attacks an added sense of unpredictability.

Noctis will be making his appearance in the third downloadable content pack (DLC) of Spring 2018.

Some of the "Tekken" fans have complained about the newer characters not fitting the beat 'em up fighting game, but plenty was happy to see more character diversity in terms of available fighters.

"Final Fantasy XV's" Noctis isn't the only new challenger appearing in "Tekken 7." Recently, it was announced that Geese Howard from "Fatal Fury" and "King of Fighters" would also be making his way to the fighting game. Geese Howard's release trailer was uploaded earlier in July, but it wasn't until Nov. 10 that excited fans received access to an early gameplay video featuring Geese Howard.

The video was uploaded to Namco Bandai Entertainment America's YouTube Channel, and similar to Noctis' reveal trailer, the gameplay video mostly showcases Geese Howard's fighting style.
