Scott Cawthon has made a name for himself in the gaming world with "Five Nights at Freddy's," a survival horror game that features deadly animatronics, and players are armed with nothing more than a flashlight and a security camera to track down the animatronics' movements. Cawthon released the fourth installment of the game last July, and two months ago, the game creator announced that he was working on a role-playing game that will include all of the characters from the franchise.

In a statement released on Steam, Cawthon revealed that the game is called "Five Nights at Freddy's World." He explained that the game will not be a horror game but a role playing game where one can create a party using the huge selection of characters from the "FNaF" games, which include the classic, withered, toy, phantom, and nightmare versions. Back in September, the game developer said that he has been working steadily on the characters and hoped to start on enemy models soon.

Cawthon was not able to release a demo for the game in time for Halloween, but he promised fans that he would release a free demo "as soon as it's ready."

As for a fifth installment of the game, Cawthon said that there won't be a "Five Nights at Freddy's 5" because the story is complete. However, he did release a Halloween update for "FNaF" 4 on Oct. 30, which included a lot of rewards in the extras menu for players who have beaten the sixth night in the game. The new content, which was released as an automatic free update, includes things such as a cheat menu and a challenge menu.

On the release date for "Five Nights at Freddy's World," Cawthon said in his statement that the game will be released on PC, Android and iOS, and that he does not have an estimated release date yet since the game is still in early development. Cinemablend reports that the new game is due for release on PC in 2016.
