HGTV has decided to renew "Flip or Flop" for a seventh season with Tarek and Christina El Moussa as hosts, despite their highly publicized split.

There has been much doubt whether Tarek and Christina would come back for the show's seventh season, after their separation was announced to the public in 2016. However, the famed home renovators are not letting their divorce get in the way of business. Following their tumultuous relationship that eventually ended in divorce, the estranged couple is going to keep hosting the remodeling series for its next installment. According to reports, the El Moussas will stay on to host the program's upcoming seventh season.

"Tarek and Christina's expertise and success flipping houses has made 'Flip or Flop' an audience favorite on HGTV for many seasons," said Allison Page, General Manager, U.S. Programming and Development, HGTV, Food Network & Travel Channel, in a press release. "The series is so successful because it shows how real estate and renovation savvy can lead to financial success."

TV Line notes that the pair have signed on for all 20 episodes of season 7. Five episodes of the next season are already in post-production, and the rest of the 15 will be filmed through the summer. It has been previously rumored that season 7 might be the show's last, but HGTV still has not confirmed if the speculations are true.

Earlier this year, HGTV ordered five spin-offs from the popular series. The other programs takes the original show's premise to other parts of the country including Nashville, Atlanta, Texas, Las Vegas, and Chicago. Both Tarek and Christina will remain involved in the offshoots, but different couples will be hosting the said shows.

The network has yet to announce a premiere date for "Flip or Flop" season 7, but the series is expected to air sometime in December.
