'For Honor' patch 1.07 news: Ubisoft brings tons of changes to gameplay

Just before the second season of "For Honor," Ubisoft has released a new update for the fighting-themed game. It is called patch 1.07, and it brings a lot of interesting stuff. Meanwhile, players are thankful that some of the main issues of the game have been fixed.

As stated in the official patch notes, the newest "For Honor" update is expected this Tuesday, May 16, at 8 a.m. EDT. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The studio revealed that the update brings more significant changes to the game's gear system and characters.

First off, patch 1.07 adds an option that allows players to customize their stick dead zones. Guardbreak and Attacks, on the other hand, have been fixed. The two will no longer be canceled whenever switching guards. That is because they will now attack quite quickly.

The latest "For Honor" update also fixes the bug in Revenge. By doing so, melee attacks will no longer drain stamina on a certain target whenever Revenge is activated. Moreover, all of the game's characters will not able to maintain Sprint state if no actual movement happens.

Moreover, the update brings changes to the characters of the game. For instance, for Raider, all of the heavy attack startups can now be canceled into Stunning Tap. This also applies to both the Raider Fury and the Zone Attack. For the Peacekeeper, the first Stab Bleed is reduced to eight damage over eight seconds (originally from 15 over eight).

In related news, WhatCulture reports that Ubisoft has been on a roll with fixing known issues in "For Honor." One is associated with the Elimination Mode, which is expected to undergo some changes as soon as the second season arrives. It is worth noting that currently, the said mode allows unlimited revives. This is probably one of the many areas the studio is looking to change in the upcoming season.
