At last, players with the knack for high-speed racing can start prepping up for "Forza Motorsport 6," the upcoming racing video game developed by Turn 10 Studios. One of the most popular racing titles, if not the biggest one, will be Microsoft's holiday treat for gamers. 

During the Inner Circle podcast, Xbox Product Manager Aaron Greenberg has dished that "Forza Motorsport 6" will be up for grabs before the year ends. This does not come as a surprise for many. In fact, it is only a confirmation of basically everybody's prediction. "Forza Motorsport 6" is expected to be another smash hit as its predecessor, "Forza Horizon 2," was the racing sensation in 2014. 

So ever since the mantle on the "Forza Motorsport 6" was taken off during the North American International Auto Show, many believed that it will be the biggest of its franchise. Furthermore, a handsome Ford GT gracing its cover is enough to leave virtual racers at the edge of their seats. 

According to Turn 10 Studios Creative Director Dan Greenawalt, the world will see "Forza Motorsport 6" in action— its gameplay and other particulars — at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 scheduled to happen from June 16 to 18 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. 

It is unknown how many cars will make up the lineup of what is deemed by many as the prime "Forza" racing game. "Forza Horizon 2" had 210 cars. Considering the mind-blowing dimension constantly touted on the "Forza Motorsport 6," the upcoming title is expected to outnumber that of its forerunners. Also, it remains to be seen how microtransactions (if the title will ever make use of them) will be applied by Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft. 

Much is expected from "Forza Motorsport 6" as titles under the same genre such as "Driveclub" and "The Crew" failed to live up to the hype that surrounded them prior to their debuts. Fans can only hope that the Xbox One-exclusive will more than the buildup.
