"Fuller House" is getting a bit fuller when the hit Netflix spin-off returns for its third season this year.

Actor Drake Bell has joined the comedy's third season as director for one episode, according to reports. Cast member John Stamos shared the news on his Instagram account on Sunday, teasing that the former Nickelodeon star could also be making a cameo appearance in the series.

The photo shows an all-dressed-up Bell on set holding an eggplant and sitting at the kitchen counter, while Stamos looks at him. "When your childhoods collide! @drakebell on the set of #fullerhouse showing me his eggplant. #DrakeandJohn #WheresJosh?" the actor wrote in the caption.

Stamos' post comes just days after the "Drake and Josh" alum posted another image of them in the iconic kitchen. Bell also announced that he was directing the series at the time. "Just finished directing an episode of Fuller House! Giving @JohnStamos some blocking changes," the musician/voice actor wrote.

To date, Netflix still has not confirmed whether Bell will make a cameo in the "Full House" reboot. TooFab has reached out to the show's spokesperson, but no statement has been released yet.

Season 2 wrapped up with Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) forcing herself to tell Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch) of her infertility after he shared his dreams of having children with her. Steve (Scott Weinger) sought help from DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) as he prepared to propose to CJ (Virginia Williams), while DJ herself waited for Matt (John Brotherton) to head back home. Jesse (Stamos) named Joey (Dave Coulier) as the godfather of his daughter with Becky (Lori Loughlin), but Danny (Bob Saget) obviously did not take it too well. DJ also revealed to Kimmy (Andrea Barber) and Stephanie that she chose to be with Steve instead of Matt. Unfortunately, for DJ, CJ said "yes" to Steve's proposal. The two characters eventually decided to stay friends despite the situation.

The third season of "Fuller House" is expected to premiere sometime this year on Netflix.
