The 62^nd annual Miss Universe pageant took place Nov. 9 at the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, Russia.

The winner of tonight's pageant is Gabriela Isler of Venezuela. The 25-year-old was crowned by this year's Miss Universe by Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo.

Patricia Rodrigues of Spain was the first runner-up, with Miss Ecuador Constanza Baez landing third place. The third runner-up was Miss Philippines, and the fourth runner-up was Miss Brazil.

86 contestants from around the world competed in tonight's pageant.

Isler was asked what her biggest fear was during the interview segment, to which she replied: "Fear is not negative. We should overcome all our fears and this in turn would make us stronger. As soon as we overcome our fears we can face any challenge."

This year's hosts were Jeannie Mai, Olivia Culpo, Nick Teplitz, Thomas Roberts, and Mel B.

The judges were: Russian-born supermodel Anne Vyalitsyna; super-model, multi-award winning actress and author Carole Alt; highly acclaimed chef Nobuyaki Matsuhisa, also known as "Chef Nobu"; one of the pageant's sponsors Farouk Shami; designer Italo Fontana; Russian pop artist Philip Kirkorov; Aerosmith's frontman Stephen Tyler; and gold medalist skater Tara Lipinski.

Stephen Tyler performed on tonight's show, along with Panic! At the Disco, and Russian pop-star Emin.

Nastassja Bolivar of Nicaragua took home the prize for the best National Costume held last week at the Miss Universe Preliminary Competition. The National Costume show was held on Sunday, November 3 at Vegas Mall in Moscow Russia.
