Switch users are in for a fun-filled year this 2018 as numerous RPGs have seen a release on the hybrid console. One addition to this already rich roster, which players can look forward to, is Inti Creates' rail-shooting title "Gal*Gun 2."

According to publisher PQube's announcement, the new game in the "Gal*Gun" series will see a release westward on the following dates: Europe on April 13, 2018 and April 24, 2018 in North America. In addition to this, the game can now be pre-ordered in the mentioned locations.

Although released earlier in European countries, the game will not be arriving to fans in Germany as the game was refused classification and a rating.

In advance, interested gamers can have a look at the localized English version of the game through game creator Inti Creates' live stream session, which will be scheduled on March 14 at the following times: 7 p.m. PT, 9 p.m. CT, and 10 p.m. ET.

"Gal*Gun 2" is the fourth installment in Inti Creates' "Gal*Gun" franchise and is the third game to see a western release.

Plot-wise, the game's story will revolve around a young man perpetually hounded by demon-possessed teenage girls and is set in a high school setting.

Gameplay-wise, "Gal*Gun 2" will enable players take on the role of the male protagonist. Here, users will be tasked with eliminating the demons possessing the women's bodies through the "Pheromone Blaster." In addition to this, a new feature has been added in-game called "Demon Sucker" -- a tool that sucks the demons' souls for additional points. On top of this, two new characters will be debuting through the new installment: Chiru a hikikomori (a shut-in), and Nanako, the titular character's childhood friend.

Once it drops, the game will be readily available for the Nintendo Switch console.

Elsewhere, "Gal*Gun 2" will see an earlier release in Japan scheduled on March 15.
