With nearly more than four months to go before the premiere of "Game of Thrones" season 6, it is almost impossible for fans to keep still as rumors and speculations continue to plague the fantasy series.

The previous season's final episode left viewers metaphorically stabbed as they watched fan-favorite Jon Snow (Kit Harington) get literally stabbed to an apparent death by none other than his fellow brothers of the Night's Watch. It was definitely heartbreaking to watch, especially with Snow's once-loyal steward Olly (Brenock O'Connor) delivering the last blow in a dramatic betrayal. 

The sight of a bleeding Snow on the ground closed the fifth season, which caused multiple online discussions about his fate, with most still holding on to the possibility that he might make it out alive. 

Numerous rumors have supported that theory and as Harington has been spotted in the Belfast area (where the show is filmed) once again, it seems as though the speculations are not going to stop any time soon. A fan-favorite theory is that Melisandre will bring the Lord Commander back from the dead. 

Carice van Houten, who plays Melisandre, has also been spotted in the same area, giving hopefuls a reason to celebrate. 

Speaking of celebrations, the rest of the cast of "Game of Thrones" were seen enjoying themselves at a wrap party at the Ulster Museum in Northern Ireland. Actresses Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams, who respectively play Daenerys Targaryen, Sansa and Arya Stark, were captured in a photo together at the event. 

The publication noted that wrap parties are usually held before filming actually ends, so this might be a sign that production for season 6 of the HBO series is almost complete. 

Even though it is still unclear whether fans will get to see Harington in the upcoming season, there is one person who is sure not to be making an appearance. 

Mark Gatiss, who played Tycho Nestoris, a representative of the Iron Bank of Braavos, has confirmed that he will not be reprising his role in season 6. There are no sure plans whether the character will ever return to the small screen. 

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gatiss expressed his desire to come back, but showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff remain mum regarding their plans.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 will premiere in April 2016.
