A key family in "Game of Thrones" may be returning in the next and final season. After being single-handedly taken down by Arya (Maisie Williams) in the season 7 opener, House Frey is tipped to reappear in season 8 possibly with a vendetta against the young assassin.

Watchers of the Wall, which has a solid track record of accuracy when it comes to "Game of Thrones" scoops, picked up a new casting information recently that hints at a new member of the House Frey. Danielle Galligan has reportedly been cast as a character named Sarra, with no last name given.

In George R.R. Martin's novels, the only Sarra mentioned is one of Walder Frey's (David Bradley) granddaughters. She already debuted on TV very briefly back in season 3, just before the infamous Red Wedding. Screen Rant recalls Walder Frey told Robb Stark (Richard Madden) then that he could have had Sarra or her twin sister Serra as his wife.

While there is no way to confirm this at the moment, it is very plausible that the Sarra mentioned in the casting news is the same Sarra from the great house of the Riverlands. In this case, it is rather interesting to see the 6-episode series finale give some space to reintroduce the family. As to what the character's involvement in "Game of Thrones" season 8 means is something fans will have to tune in for. However, a popular theory suggests she may be onto Arya for revenge.

Williams' character murdered Walder Frey and all men in the clan during a feast for betraying her family, but she left the women alive believing they, too, are victims of Walder's treachery. Still, Arya herself is very much aware that such kindness is not ideal.

Before ripping Walder's throat, she pointed out that not killing all the Starks was a big mistake. "You should have ripped them all out, root and stem," she said. "Leave one wolf alive, the sheep are never safe." She may have very well sealed her own doom by making the same mistake with the Freys.

Then again, this is just one of the options. As the White Walkers finally breached The Wall, there might be not enough time to reignite the Stark/Frey feud. If Sarra took charge of the clan following Walder's death, there is also a chance she may forge an alliance with the Starks and help them in their battle against the Night King's army.

Whatever the case is, "Game of Thrones" will not likely return until 2019. That gives fans plenty of time to come up with more theories about Sarra's character.
