December might become players' favorite month, as it brings a lot of new game releases, including one which includes colorful fighting characters, "Gang Beasts."

Double Fine Productions announced recently that fighting game "Gang Beasts" will be arriving on PlayStation 4 (PS4) on Dec. 12. After much anticipation, fans will be able to witness gelatin-like creatures from Beef City fighting their enemies in this upcoming release.

"Settle all your holiday arguments with a trip to Beef City, where harmless, brutal, violence is fun for all the family! Gang Beasts is heading to your neighborhood on December 12th, until then please enjoy the new trailer above and get ready to FIGHT!" the announcement read.

The announcement came with a trailer that shows what awaits console gamers. The clip included colorful characters lifting and then throwing each other into an incinerator, fighting atop a moving vehicle before falling, and taking the battle at a train track before being hit by a train.

In addition, "Gang Beasts" will be treated with lots of modes in the game. Players can choose a two-versus-two soccer match, described by the publisher as "clumsy yet brutal," or they could make bigger teams of four in order to take on a horde of thugs. Players could also change their characters' costumes, depending on their preference.

Supporters have noted these features and have taken the news with excitement. "Been waiting on this for awhile now, can't wait to get my hands on it! Congratulations to the Devs," user I3uddha_0ne said. Most of the other fans resounded this statement, with one sharing that the PC version was awesome and that the PS4 version was badly-needed.

For those unfamiliar with "Gang Beasts," it enables players to take on the role of a Beef City thug, which will brutally fight by punching, kicking, or throwing their enemies.
