The Harvey Weinstein case has sparked numerous celebrities and other people who have worked closely in the entertainment business to come forward regarding the very sensitive issue of sexual assault. In fact, American-French actor, Gilles Marini, has come forward as well. This proves that Hollywood not only has female victims but males, who can be assaulted sexually as well.

In a report by People Magazine, Marini had been allegedly approached by the industry's most powerful figures and had been inappropriately propositioned. These cases rose in number after his stint in "Sex in the City: The Movie," which was released back in 2008. In the movie, he even played a much sexualized role as Dante, the love interest of Samantha, played by Kim Cattrall.

Marini stated that he "became a piece of meat" for many of Hollywood's executives. Marini further discussed his observations regarding other men admitting to being harassed in the past. According to Independent, not many males in Hollywood used the trending hashtag #MeToo to come forward about their tragic experiences. Marini explains that men do not come forward because they "lose their manhood," which is now the current stigma.

What is potentially disturbing is the possible amount of men who have received inappropriate sexual advances in the past, who are probably bearing the cross of their unfortunate encounters. As much as women are being harassed, there must be a staggering amount of men who will never get the justice that they deserve, as reported by SMH. Marini also stated that this is something that happens across the globe, and is not just exclusive to women.

When Marini was asked about Weinstein's case, he stated that rehab should not be an option for the disgraced former producer. According to Page Six, Marini stated that the only place Weinstein deserves to go to is jail. As of Monday this week, about 82 women have reportedly banded together against Weinstein, and have come up with a list of all of his victims.

Weinstein's representatives have continued to deny the allegations against him as he spends his time in Arizona for rehab.
