"Girl Meets World" season 2 episode 25 will continue the story of the "Girl Meets Texas" episodes after taking a short break with the "Girl Meets the Forgiveness Project" as it sees Riley (Rowan Blanchard) deal with her feelings for Lucas (Peyton Meyer).

During the aforementioned previous episodes Riley figured that her feelings for Lucas were more akin to the love of a sister toward her brother and despite not being sure of that, she pushed Lucas to be together with Maya (Sabrina Carpenter). In the upcoming episode, Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) tries to set things right.

As seen in the promotional trailer, Farkle helps Riley realize that her feelings for Lucas are on a different level and tries to convince her to tell the truth to her friends. When she doesn't, Farkle decides to take matters into his own hands during the New Year's Eve midnight party.

In a report from the IB Times, Lucas will attend the party with Maya while Riley goes out with her admirer Charlie (Tanner Buchanan). Charlie's goal is to kiss Riley at midnight, officially "sealing the deal" as he believes it will kick off a good year for him and Riley.

Things will come to a sudden standstill when Farkle tells all their friends the truth about Riley's feelings towards Lucas. Riley stays dumbfounded with nothing to say while Lucas and Maya stare on, seemingly confused. How the episode ends has yet to be seen. 

It is speculated in the report that Lucas may end up going out with Riley if he too shares the same feelings towards her but then that may put Riley's friendship with Maya in a dangerous ledge since she's had feelings towards Lucas for a long time.

According to a report from Cartermatt, the "Girl Meets World" season 2 episode will air on Dec. 4 instead of a date closer to Christmas or New Year in order to avoid a sudden drop in viewership ratings over the busy holidays.
