There could a chance that Sam and Brittany may rekindle their romance in the next season of "Glee".

Another former "Glee" character is now confirmed to be back in McKinley High. Ohio's favorite cheerleader-turned-glee club member Brittany S. Pierce, played by Heather Morris, will be coming back to her Alma Mater for the show's sixth season.

"Glee" star Lea Michele tweeted a photo of herself and Morris. The two were reading in what appears to be the library of their old high school.

Previous reports claimed that Heather Morris will not be a series regular next season and will only appear in a few episodes. However, no one is sure about that right now.

There is a possibility that Brittany and Sam may be back together since Chord Overstreet. After Santana and Brittany broke up, Brit dated other members of the New Directions, most recently Sam. Now that Sam and Mercedes are really over, Brittany and Sam could be an item next season.

Moreover, Brit's girlfriend Santana (Naya Rivera) will not be a series regular next season resulting from an ugly fight with Lea Michele.

Joining the ranks of the series regulars are Kurt (Chris Colfer), Sam Evans (Chord Overstreet) and Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) who will be back in Ohio and will find new gigs in town. Meanwhile, Dianna Agron (Quinn), Matthew Morrison (Will), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Mark Salling (Puck), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), and Naya Rivera (Santana) will appear in some of the episodes as guest stars.

New characters have also been reported to join the cast. According to TV Line, five new characters will be added in the season's line up although no official announcement has been made yet. The new cast is consisted of Roderick, Spencer, Jane, Mason and Madison.

"Glee" season 6 will be back on air in the spring of 2015.
