NBA Finals 2016 runner-up Golden State Warriors seems determined to fortify its ranks this season, landing top free agent Kevin Durant in 2016 NBA free agency. Although this appears to be the most prominent addition to the team this time--or any team in the NBA, for that matter--it looks like more changes are happening to the Warriors' line-up.

Durant's addition to the Golden State Warriors has cost the team some veterans, including Brandon Rush, Harrison Barnes, Andrew Bogut, Festus Ezeli, and Marreese Speights.

With this, the Golden State needs somebody to fill the void and find some rim protection. According to Fansided.com, team manager Bob Myers is reportedly looking at former Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders to join the warriors.

Speculations on Sanders joining the team from the Golden State were further fueled when the basketball player posted a picture on his Twitter account showing a screenshot of the 1979 film "The Warriors." Some fans interpreted this as a hint that Sanders is about to sign a deal with the Golden State.

While the Golden State Warriors is headed for some major changes in its line-up, one of the team's bench players will remain next season. According to Forbes.com, the Warriors' veteran big man, Anderson Varejao, will stay with the team.

Varejao was signed by the Warriors last season and was able to play 22 games. He was initially traded to the Portland Trail Blazers, but the trade was immediately waived.

While the terms of contract for next season have yet to be released, it is believed that make the veterans' minimum salary to return to the Golden State Warriors.

If this will indeed be the case for this season, Varejao--who has earned $72 million throughout his career as a professional basketball player--will earn his lowest salary ever since the last year of his original contract back in the 2006-07 NBA season.
