HTC-manufactured Google Nexus 10 2 is reported to be launched at the company's I/O Developers' Conference kicking off on June 25.

The rumors about Google's 10-inch tablet were renewed after they were overwhelmed by reports pertaining to Nexus 8 tablet as well as the Android Silver program. It was speculated that Google already dropped the full-fledged 10-inch tablet after it missed a lot of alleged release dates.

However, it is still believed that the HTC-built Nexus 10 2 tablet will make an appearance at I/O 2014 happening in over a week from now, according to Tech Radar. Although there is no concrete announcement that will back up this claim, clues were laid hinting the imminent release of the tablet.

It was reported earlier that Google Nexus 8 will be released at the company's most-anticipated event. Rumors were also flying that the Nexus line will be replaced by a higher end Android Silver line since it was over two years and a half since the first generation of Nexus 10 was released. There was a leaked benchmark spotted last month about a Google device nicknamed as "flounder". It was predicted that the device will be the 8-inch tablet. However, there is also the possibility that it could be the 10-inch slab.

According to rumors, the upcoming Google tablet will pack 10.1 –inch screen display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution. The tablet will also feature an NVIDIA Tegra 4 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU that will make processing and performance of the device. Other features include 3GB of RAM, 8MP back camera, and 9500 mAh battery capacity.

The tablet is also speculated to run with the next generation 4.5/5.0 version of Android OS. The operating system is rumored to be released on the same date. However, Google has not released any official information on what device or devices will be released on the said date.
