James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) will have their hands full in the next episode of "Gotham," while Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) continues to build a relationship with Barbara (Erin Richards). 

The official synopsis for "Gotham" episode 17 titled "Red Hood" reads: 

"Gordon and Bullock are going to uncover the Red Hood gang. Following several bank robberies, Gordon and Bullock will investigate the Red Hood gang. Selina Kyle is going to continue to bond with Barbara, and Fish Mooney will try to reclaim her position in the underworld." 

Some of the guest stars in the upcoming episode include Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean, Sharon Washington as Molly Mathis, Clare Foley as Ivy Pepper, Jonny Coyne as Destro, David O'Hara as Reggie, Takeo Lee Wong as Chaing, Jenna Gavigan as Manager's Secretary and Jeffrey Combs as Office Manager. 

Meanwhile, in the previous episode titled "The Blind Fortune Teller," Robin's parents and the young Joker were introduced in the series. 

Gordon took Dr. Thompkins (guest star Morena Baccarin) on a trip to the circus for a much needed alone time. At first, everything was going well until an unruly group of clowns riding a car drove right into the circus, one of them smashing a bottle over one of the members of The Flying Graysons. A fight suddenly erupted, which was why Gordon immediately sprung into action to pacify things.

Meanwhile, Dr. Thompkins attended to the wounds of a male and a female named John Greyson and Mary Lloyd, who turned out to be the parents of Robin, the trusted partner of Batman/ Bruce Wayne, portrayed by David Mazouz. However, it is unclear if the two acrobats have a loving relationship, since the two were bantering while the doctor was taking care of their wounds. 

"Gotham" episode 17 is slated to air next Monday, Feb. 23, on Fox.
