When "Gran Turismo Sport" was released, it was generally made with an online audience in mind; thus, it was noticeably lacking a single-player mode. With a new big update rolling out, the PlayStation 4 (PS4) racing game is finally getting the single-player mode that many fans have been asking for.

The new single-player mode is quite aptly called the Campaign mode, and it will feature players competing in the GT League against other drivers controlled by an artificial intelligence (AI) player. Any gamer who has played other racing game would find this mode quite similar and easy to understand. There are certain levels that players will have to go through, and as each new level is reached, more and more drivers and races will be unlocked.

The Campaign mode is also a good place for players to try out different cars or simply play the game without being pressured to win against other online players. It will also allow new players to learn the mechanics of "Gran Turismo Sport" at their own pace and in a calmer environment.

Speaking of different cars, the big update has also released more than 10 cars. Some of these vehicles include the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R Type A (FD), the Nissan Skyline GT-R V spec II (R32), the Lamborghini Countach LP400, the Chris Holstrom Concepts 1967 Chevy Nova, and the Ferrari F40.

Elsewhere in the online mode, the developers have also added a race for the top players aptly called "Top 24 Superstars." There is a new track, photo spots, scapes, and some fixed sounds. As for its settings, the DUALSHOCK4 motion sensor steering has also been adjusted no longer needing players to incline too much to move their car. The update also fixes a gameplay issue, as players can now set button assignments for the throttle and brakes. There is also a new "Regulation Settings" that the developers have added.
