The Green Bay Packers and the Arizona Cardinals will clash on Sunday in a massive game for Week 16 of the NFL 2015 regular season. These are two of the strongest teams in the NFL when playing at their best, and with the Playoffs just weeks away, both teams will be wanting to carry some positive momentum into the postseason. Although both teams have secured their postseason berths already, there is still a lot to play for today. Both teams will know how important winning momentum is going into the Playoffs, but for the Cardinals, they have an additional incentive to try and make sure they win today.

Arizona will be looking to clinch a first round bye with a win today, however, the Packers would like nothing more than to get a win over on their rivals and give themselves a much needed confidence boost as the team prepares for knock out football.

The Packers managed to clinch their Playoff berth last week with their 30-20 win over the Oakland Raiders, and if they win today and the Minnesota Vikings lose to the New York Giants, then Green Bay will secure the NFC North division.

That was a third straight win for the the Packers, but they will want to continue that winning momentum now with just two games if the regular season remaining.

Earlier this week on Saturday night, the NFC East division was all but concluded, with the Washington Redskins defeating the Philadelphia Eagles to confirm themselves as division champions.

The Redskins clinched the division title, and with it a postseason spot, with a comfortable 38-24 win. Their appearance in the Playoffs this season will be their first since the 2012 season, and comes as a surprise as not many had predicted the Redskins would take the NFC East at the start of the season.

The result means the 8-7 Redskins will play a home Playoff game against the No. 5 seeded team in the NFC. At the moment that would mean a match up against the Seattle Seahawks, which would be a massive challenge as they have made huge strides in the second half of the season and at the moment look like one of the most dangerous teams in the league.

If the results in the coming few weeks shake things up more though, then the Redskins could get a game against the 9-5 Minnesota Vikings, which is another daunting prospect for Washington. However, at the moment the Redskins may just want to enjoy the fact that they're back in the postseason and whoever it turns out they face, what will be will be.

Kirk Cousins has been one of the core reasons the Redskins have managed to surprise people this season, and he has played above everyone's expectations. On Saturday night he completed 31 of 46 throws for 365 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions.

At the start of the season, the Redskins suffered poor form through their opening six games. During that period, Kirk Cousins threw eight interceptions, where as in the nine games since he threw just three.

They will need the new improved Kirk Cousins if they are to make an impact in the Playoffs.
