The CW's "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead" executive producer Greg Nicotero spoke about the fan-made theory that Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) from the mother series would be the character to cross over the other show.

On the idea that Abraham will be the character in the crossover, Nicotero said in an interview with ComicBook, "I love the Abraham theory," and added that he thought "it's super smart." Whether this is a confirmation is not clear as Nicotero, who will direct the 100^th episode of "The Walking Dead," revealed that he was so busy on the finale of the show that he was not able to delve in the script of the season 4 of the prequel to the post-apocalyptic series.

How the crossover will happen is still undisclosed. Nicotero only confirmed that the crossover was indeed in the works already. The crossover was announced at the New York Comic Con on Oct. 7 by Robert Kirkman. Since then, fans are constantly looking for ways to somehow connect the two zombie-themed series.

"There's one character that is going to go from one show that I will not name and appear in the other show, which I will not name," Kirkman teased during the event's panel interview at the Madison Square Garden. But, after the final episode of the third season of the "Fear the Walking Dead," many fans concluded that it was indeed Abraham from "The Walking Dead" who would appear on the crossover.

The finale saw Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) and Proctor John (Ray McKinnon) having a conversation about the latter's plans of putting up a trading network in Houston, Texas. The prospect location had been a big clue for many, and fans were quick to note that the possible move by Proctor John could lead to the meeting with Abraham, who was originally from that town.
