Episode 11 of "Grey's Anatomy's" 11th season is sure to be a tearjerker, one in which packs of tissue should be close by. The forthcoming installment is fittingly titled "All I Could Do Was Cry," which is also the name of one of Etta James' celebrated singles. In the melancholic episode, April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) wait in agony for their baby's fate, and the promo looks like it will only lead to real heartbreak.

April and Jackson have to face the music and decide to do what is best for their unborn child. Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) is the bearer of bad news here. The baby was diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta, which renders the bones brittle and easily broken.

Jackson has resigned to the idea of losing his little one should it be confirmed that the infant has retreated to the terminal stage of the disease. He has been packed down by the tragedy so much that his feet lead him to church to ask for heaven's intervention, something he has been strongly against ever since he and April coupled up. April, however, is determined to keep her baby alive, in spite of the faint possibility of a miracle — the very thing she holds on to.

Meanwhile, Catherine's (Debbie Allen) arrival in Seattle comes with a bolt from the blue as she stumbles upon Richard (James Pickens Jr.), her former lover at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. In addition, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) searches for a babysitter so she can spend the weekend with Derek (Patrick Dempsey). Lastly, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) gives Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton) an idea about "some tough love" as they work side by side on a case.

"Grey's Anatomy" will return with "All I Could Do Was Cry" on Feb. 12.
