One thing that NBC has been trying to emphasize is that Juliette is already dead. While some fans believe that she will be alive and kicking in "Grimm" season 5, here is the network setting the record straight for the last time with a sneak peek of the veterinarian turned hexenbiest's funeral.

Before the sneak peek worked its way online, executive producer David Greenwalt already confirmed during the San Diego Comic Con that Juliette really is dead. David Giuntoli, who plays Nick in the series, also spoke about what became of his character's love to Entertainment Weekly.

"Well, we've already shot pretty deep into the season and we've seen no sign of her," the actor said, also opening up about the higher stakes in killing off characters on a supernatural show that fans believe could resurrect someone that's already dead.

"If we know our people can survive anything, what's the point of toying with their fates? We don't want to be that show that can fix anything, including death, with the perfect potion," Giuntoli went on to explain, solidifying Juliette's absence in "Grimm" season 5.

Another sneak peek of the premiere titled "The Grimm Identity" shows what follows after Trubel shot the arrows that killed Juliette into her chest. Nick was apparently given some drugs that knocked him out long enough for the group that arrived in the place to take away Juliette's body, Nick's mother's head and even Trubel's crossbow.

Nick believes that these guys are trying to cover up Trubel's action and that it was FBI agent Chavez, who is part of a secret government, that wants to bring Wesen down. He believes he was taken away because the new enemy they are after doesn't know he is a Grimm as well.

In "Grimm" season 5, Nick will deal with the fury of having lost the love of his life and not being given the justice she deserves as he struggles to become the father of Adalind's baby.

"Grimm" season 5 premieres Oct. 30.
