'GTA 6' rumors: Setting going back to Vice City?

The huge success of "Grand Theft Auto V" shows that GTA is still one of the most sought-after games in the world, having sold over 11 million copies and earning over $800 million in its first 24 hours. First released in 1997, the open-world action-adventure game has provided avid players with hours of gaming pleasure, so it's not surprising that they are already anticipating the coming of "GTA 6."

While there is yet no official word from Rockstar about a sixth installment in the franchise, there are several speculations on what "GTA 6" would bring. Some have guessed that the next venue would be London, but according to Movie Pilot, it is more likely that "GTA 6" will return to Florida a.k.a. Vice City. But unlike the earlier Vice City version, the upcoming one would, speculatively, give players the ability to go to other GTA cities, with a probability that each city would feature a main character.

And with "GTA V" featuring three protagonists (Michael De Santa, Trevor Philips, and Franklin Clinton), there are predictions that "GTA 6" would likewise have more than one lead character. It is said that it will feature two: one would be of Asian descent, while the other would be a descendant of bounty hunter John Marston.

Marston, as gamers will recall, is a character in "Red Dead Redemption," a game also created by Rockstar. Incidentally, it is believed that the western action-adventure game is also on the way to having its own sequel, "Red Dead Redemption 2."

Gamers, of course, can keep on speculating about "GTA 6" while Rockstar is busy preparing "GTA V" for next-gen consoles.  It features an even better gaming experience set in Los Santos, San Andreas, with more wildlife and foliage plus denser traffic and a huge selection of songs from the GTA radio stations.  It also features new vehicles and weapons, varying weather conditions and effects, and players can inflict or experience more damage.

"Grand Theft Auto V" for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is set to be released on Nov. 18, and the PC version is scheduled to roll out on Jan. 27.  Those who pre-order the game will receive in-game bonus cash of GTA$500,000 for use in Story Mode and another GTA$500,000 for use in GTA Online.
