Rockstar Games has announced another expansion, in the form of a special event, for "Grand Theft Auto Online."

"Halloween Specials," the event-themed expansion is expected to be a timed exclusive, and it will go live starting Oct. 28. As an expansion, the new event lists a number of both new and returning in-game items from last year's Halloween event, including masks, clothing, and in-game gear. There is also a new vehicle added to the inventory, as the new Sanctus motorcycle gets unlocked as part of the special event.

In addition to in-game items, the 2016 "Halloween Specials" will also tweak the gameplay for "GTA Online." There is a new gameplay mode dubbed as "Lost vs. Damned," a battle between Angels and Devils. The new gameplay has an added twist, as time cycles every minute, with daytime favoring the angels in the fight, while the night cycles will be to the devils' advantage. Rewards in the night–day cycles for the new mode include increased health and armor, as well as more powerful weapon loadout spawns.

Meanwhile, aside from the "Halloween Specials," Rockstar Games also confirmed that bonuses for hardcore fans of the franchise are in store simultaneously with the event. As part of "GTA V" third year anniversary, players who log in on "GTA Online" until Oct. 31 will receive $250,000 worth of game currency which will be deposited to players' game accounts on Nov. 4.

The "Anniversary Specials" is now live, and it introduces massive discounts for in-game items. Interestingly, the in-game discounts are not limited to the recent items, for as much as 30% off are available to in-game items that have been added to the title ever since the "Beach Bum" DLC that went live in November 2013. The discounts are especially available to previously DLC-exclusive items like weapons, properties, and vehicles, and this promo will last until Nov. 7.

The announcement also reveals that the week's premium race, a part of the new "Bikers" DLC, will last until Oct. 31.
