'GTA Online' news: Festive Surprise DLC said to include Declasse Tampa

The upcoming Christmas DLC for "Grand Theft Auto Online," the Festive Surprise 3.0 DLC, is expected to release in the upcoming days, and according to GTA tipster xHaviiHx, as per IBTimes, reveals that the DLC will bring back one vehicle from previous games.

In particular, the Christmas DLC will include the Declasse Tampa, a vehicle originally from "Grand Theft Auto IV." It is stated that because this is a special throwback car, it will have a unique look that will set it apart from the stock vehicles normally seen in the game.

Also released are the supposed stats for the vehicle. According to the report, these stats have been discovered within the game's own game files and were initially posted on the GTA forums. The stats for the vehicle are as follows:

  • Mass: 1200
  • Handbrake: 0.8
  • Driveforce: 0.27
  • Drag: 10
  • Max Velocity: 140

The tipster also listed down the price for the Declasse Tampa as GTA$ 375,000. However, given that Rockstar has not yet officially released the game notes for the DLC, this is still subject to change. It is likely the official price for the vehicle will be posted upon the DLC's launch.

A new vehicle won't be the only new addition that comes with the DLC. The posted game code on IBTimes also showcases that the DLC will be bringing in new masks and clothings as well as specific costumes for the "Hunt the Beast" event.

The report also states that the DLC is expected to bring about a few other cosmetic changes to the world of Los Santos. These updates include a larger Christmas tree, one perhaps displayed in the center of Los Santos, and a new weather condition such as snowfall or even a blizzard.

Unfortunately, at this time these still remain as speculation despite being based entirely on the game's codes. There is still the likelihood of Rockstar changing the content of the upcoming DLC at any point prior to the DLC's official launch.
