'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' spoilers: Nebula to return in sequel

Nebula will be back for more action in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." The character is the alien supervillain and evil sister of Gamora. During the Heroes and Villains Fanfest, Karen Gillan, who plays Nebula, gushed about the upcoming movie.

"I've read the script," Gillan revealed as quoted by CBR. "I haven't talked to anyone about it, which is, frankly, really frustrating, because I want to talk to everyone about it, but I can't. I just know it's going to be really brilliant, and I feel like everyone is going to like it," the actress added.

This also comes as a confirmation of Gillan's reprisal of the role. So it looks like Nebula is not done with Gamora just yet and in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," the Galaxy-class killer who was raised by interplanetary warlord and big baddie Thanos, will make a comeback to get some work done.

Meanwhile, there are also murmurings that two Marvel characters will show up in the much-awaited sequel. Doctor Strange and The Vision, who first showed up in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," will reportedly make cameo appearances in the movie.

No concrete info is available about the former's emergence although it is expected that he would at least appear at the post-credits scene of the upcoming character-heavy film "Captain America: Civil War." The hero is played by Benedict Cumberbatch and production for his eponymous solo film is now underway.

As for The Vision, it is expected that by the end of the latest Cap solo film, the character will be tasked to travel the universe for the remaining Infinity stones. This should allow him to appear in "Thor: Ragnarok" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." Of course, nothing is yet set in stone. The plot for the follow-up is tightly under wraps.

More spoilers should come fans' way with "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" hitting the silver screen on May 5, 2017.
