Battle-royale game "H1Z1" has been in Steam's Early Access for a few years now and it has just recently gotten its official release. To celebrate this, the developers are releasing a new game mode for players to try out. The new mode is called Auto Royale in which players will have to focus on cars.

Auto Royale puts players in teams against other teams and as the name implies, the teams will be staying inside cars. One player will be assigned to drive around the map pulling off sleek maneuvers, jumps and other moves that he or she can do. The other three players will be on the windows with guns ready to fire.

Since the three others would shoot, it doesn't mean the driver simply has to drive. There are in fact a lot of challenges for the driver, as he or she will have to beat the circle of gas before it closes. The driver could also pick up power-ups such as oil slicks, smoke screens and even double-jumps. There are ramps around the map to have that intense action scenes like in the movies.

There are also changes made to the main game itself, that is, its battle-royale mode. While previously players get spawned in random locations, the new official release now allows players to spawn on a specific grid on the map they choose. This move is just rightly so as most of the popular battle-royale games have this feature as well.

There is also a new heatmap feature that shows players where other players have decided to be dropped in. The heatmap even gets updated every second and also shows where the starting circle of gas or its safe area will be in before they spawn. Putting all things together, this definitely adds more tactical strategies on where to land.

Again, "H1Z1" is getting all these new features because it is finally out of Early Access. That said, the price remains the same at $20.
