"Halo" fans might have to wait until next year for the release of "Halo 5," but the series creator recently hinted that the upcoming "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" can give a sneak peek on the upcoming one-person shooter video game.

The game's executive producer Dan Ayoub granted an interview with Kotaku, and described the soon-to-be released "The Master Chief Collection" as "a Netflix binge watch" prior to the release of the game's next chapter.

"Halo: The Master Chief Collection" will come out in the market on Nov. 14, 2014 exclusively on Xbox One platform.

Ayoub also mentioned that the collection will feature new cutscenes included in the "Halo 2 Anniversary" which serve as an obvious direct link to the much-awaited Halo 5 game.

"We've added bookend cinematics that start to introduce some characters you're gonna see in Halo 5 and kinda set up the story that way," Ayoub said. "The characters you're gonna see in the cinematics won't appear in the gameplay of Halo 2. They're just setting up some guys you're gonna see in Halo 5. We're gonna show the Arbiter. We're gonna show [new Halo 5 character] Locke. Characters like that. You're gonna see some old characters and some new ones."

Meanwhile, Kotaku also stated that those who will purchase the Master Chief Collection will be granted the exclusive access to the "Halo 5" beta that will come out on Dec. 29, 2014 until Jan. 18, 2015.

Ayoub also brushed on the "Halo 5" beta subject when he gave an interview with IB Times UK. When asked about what players could expect from the beta which will be released one year ahead of the actual game, the producer shared, "As for content we're going to have quite a bit, we're not talking about the exact details yet but it's going to be quite... err... meaty, I guess. There's going to be quite a few maps, quite a few game modes and people will get a great glimpse at what the final version will look like."

"Halo 5" is allegedly scheduled to be released in May 2015.
