Five-O Friday's are back as the seventh season of "Hawaii Five-0" premiered its first episode last Friday with a Steve McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) who's now more determined than ever to catch the vigilante killer.

On the previous season of "Hawaii Five-0," McGarett was last seen receiving a liver transplant from Danny (Scott Caan), which later saved McGarett's life. A couple of weeks after the transplant, McGarett is back on the streets and ready to get back to his job. 

"McGarrett is coming out of the hospital and he is questioning what happened," says "Hawaii Five-0" producer Peter Lenkov during the CBS TCA party for the Fall Preview, according to Parade.

"He is questioning the fact that he had this near-death experience, so he is really weighing the cost of his job: having lost a relationship, getting shot multiple times, and what it's done to his personal life," Lenkov added.

As for the rest of season 7, the "Hawaii Five-0" task force will be on the lookout for a heinous vigilante serial killer whose victims are other serial killers. Season 7 opened with the first episode "Ready to Play," where the team had to deal with a dead body at their Five-0 headquarters.

In line with this season's premiere episode, spoilers suggest that Alicia Brown (Claire Forlani) will find another dead body in between her sheets in this season's third episode titled "New Player."

Rumors about "Hawaii Five-0" season 7 also suggest that the vigilante killer — named the "Chess Piece Killer" — who the Five-0 task force is working hard to find will soon be recognized by fans throughout the season.

Another thing fans can expect is the release of Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) from prison. In the early episodes of this season, Adam will be seen with the new friends he made in prison, who he might later do favors for.

"Hawaii Five-0" airs during Fridays at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
