A new film called "Hearts of Men" explores the core roots of sexual brokenness and seeks to answer how and why men perpetuate the sex trade, the movie's website says.

Integrating documentary, dramatisation and testimony into a single project, the film drives home "the truth ... that Jesus isn't after our sexual sobriety; He's out to give us new hearts," according to CBN News.

"By using intense undercover footage, prostitution raids and compelling teaching from thought leaders in the realm of sexual exploitation and trafficking, they were able to powerfully convey the simple message that men drive the demand in this industry," the website says.

"Hearts of Men" is written and produced by Jason Pamer and Eric Esau from Unearthed Pictures. It is a follow-up to their moving documentary "Rape for Profit," which also addressed the issue of human sex trafficking. They teamed up with actress Jada Pinkett Smith, who served as executive producer on the documentary.

Whereas "Rape for Profit" unveiled the booming business of sex trade in major cities in the US, where girls are bought and sold for sex, "Hearts of Men" hopes to unravel the issue down to its very root—the hearts and desires of men.

"Hearts of Men" also includes a musical score from composer Tony Anderson, as well as interviews with best-selling author William Paul Young, who wrote "The Shack," psychologist Dan Allender, and other experts on the issue.

The main goal of Unearthed Pictures is to "see a systemic shift in sexual exploitation" by grappling the issue at its roots—the demand. "Reducing demand in sexual exploitation means doing the gritty, honest painful work of dealing with inner heart change and transformation within men – and that comes only through Jesus Christ," they said.
