Cullen (Anson Mount) and Durant (Colm Meany) will see President Grant (Victor Slezak) in the upcoming episode of AMC's "Hell on Wheels."

In "False Prophets," TV Guide reports that the two will be traveling to Salt Lake City to talk about the future of railroad with the politician. Meanwhile, the Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl) will enact his plans against the Mormons earlier than expected. Is this because he feels threatened after Brigham's (Gregg Henry) visit to the Central Pacific?

Last episode, the "lion of the Lord" arrived in Laramie to check on Durant. The latter still has not paid his outstanding balance and Brigham was there to make sure he would not forget it. The Mormon also discussed Huntington's (Tim Guinee) railroad route and made a deal with him. He knew that Durant has been skimming profits, hence he has him by the neck. How would Durant get out of this predicament? If he backs out of the pact, would he have the courage to face the wrath of the lion?

Meanwhile, Brigham's orders may end up disrupting the Swede's carefully laid out plans. The latter was still intent on putting Phineas (Josh Caras), who was under his control, on top of the Mormon Church. Brigham may have taken every precaution to ensure that he remained untouched by all that has been happening in the railroad construction. But was he prepared to take on his own son?

As far as the viewers are concerned, Brigham should not be underestimated. As he previously reminded Durant, he was the one who defeated the U.S. Army and demonstrated his viciousness to anyone who dared stand in his way. Brigham was also aware of the Swede's cunning; and while he and Phineas may be connected by blood, he did not think much of the latter.

"Hell on Wheels" airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
