'Heroes of the Storm' patch news: Kharazim from 'Diablo 3' officially joins game

The latest patch for "Heroes of the Storm" officially adds Kharazim from "Diablo 3."

For players who want to try out Kharazim on the battlefield, they can still get the new character for free. All they have to do is log in to "Heroes of the Storm" within three weeks of Kharazim being officially added to the game, and they will have access to him, according to PC Gamer.

As for what players can expect from Kharazim, he is being labeled as the first support class character to be added to "Heroes of the Storm," according to Gamespot. He gains that distinction thanks to his abilities that enable him to heal fellow players while on the battlefield.

Kharazim is not exactly a strictly support-based character, however, as players can change how he handles on the battlefield according to the preferences. Depending on what they will select for Kharazim, every third basic attack from this hero can either heal a teammate nearby with the lowest amount of health remaining, restore his own mana, or even be customized so that he is capable of doing twice the damage.

Kharazim also has other abilities that can either make him impervious to damage while dishing out a great deal of it and another one that allows him to save the lives of his teammates for up to three seconds.

As for what else players can find in the latest "Heroes of the Storm" patch, there will be the customary round of in-tweaks, the addition of new AI difficulty settings, and even changes to ranked modes.

Noticeably absent from the latest patch coming to "Heroes of the Storm" is the new map known as Infernal Shrines. Details of the new map have already been revealed, so it is likely to arrive sometime soon to "Heroes of the Storm."
